Since 1970, the Greater Columbus Arts Council supports the arts and advances the culture of the Central Ohio region by funding local artists and creating opportunities for the community to experience the arts. While funding has been a challenge in recent years, the Greater Columbus Arts Council works to ensure needed funds and ensure that the Columbus arts scene has a long and prosperous future. The Greater Columbus Arts Council partnered with Origo Branding to create a new development campaign to generate awareness of programs and to increase donations.
Following an extensive research phase, five concepts were developed with Arts Elevate emerging as the clear favorite. The campaign educates prospective donors on how the Greater Columbus Arts Council elevates Columbus through advocacy, expertise, collaboration, and vision. Paired with the inspiring tagline “Taking Our City to New Heights,” this concept uses vibrant images of local artists to illustrate how the arts uplift the makers of Columbus and create a thriving community.
